Jan Gidley's career has provided her with opportunities to work with individual authors as well as publishers of all sizes. She "got ink in her blood" working for a small printer to help with college expenses.

Her career provided position with Edwards Brothers Book Manufacturing and Braun-Brumfield (now Sheridan books) where she held positions in customer service and sales management. During those years, she traveled the United States, continued her education, and gained experience in customer relations and problem solving.

In 1993 she moved to Colorado but could not stay away from the "business of books". As a printing consultant and sales representative she enjoyed working with the publishers and self-publishers in the Rocky Mountain region. She has relocated to Florida to be near family.

She has started this series of Guides to encourage you to write and share your knowledge and experiences with those who can learn from it and teach others.
